AA seems about right. Where did the O's start Holliday? Basically AAA after a short while?

I see his progression more comparable to Jacob WIlson IMO. Wilson was drafted 6th overall the year before out of college like Wetherholt and started last year in AA. He went from AA to AAA to the majors.dirtkicker wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025 15:41 pm AA seems about right. Where did the O's start Holliday? Basically AAA after a short while?
Point being AA isn't too high.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025 15:47 pmI see his progression more comparable to Jacob WIlson IMO. I agree, I think it’s a good starting point for this year.dirtkicker wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025 15:49 pmPoint being AA isn't too high.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025 15:47 pmI see his progression more comparable to Jacob WIlson IMO. Agree AA is perfect spot for him. Starting at AAA wouldnt have got him to the majors any faster. The cards are seeing what the young guys can do so no way he would promoted any sooner than maybe September. If he rakes for a month or two then he will go to Memphis and if he keeps taking may get called up in September. No sense in risking him [defecating] the bed at Memphis then maybe having to get demoted to AA to get tractiondirtkicker wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025 15:49 pmPoint being AA isn't too high.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025 15:47 pmI see his progression more comparable to Jacob WIlson IMO. After watching/listening to JJ’s at bats this spring, AA pitching sounds like the best match for him, for now.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025 17:00 pmAgree AA is perfect spot for him.
