+1 you're spot on correct. It boggles my mind why a pitcher waits this long to sign. I hope that he has a great season and doesn't get hurt.
You think Gibson has just been lounging by a pool until the O’s signed him?

You realize he has probably been going through a simulated spring training/workout sign at least February.
No but a lot of pitchers who sign late into spring training struggle for the first part or all of the season and a lot end up injured
