I think Liverpool will hopefully lock up the league early and be resting players for Champs League to their advantage if they get past PSG

at least that is what I am hoping for. I really don't care about any records of how many points they come top over Arsenal. they aren't going to beat Man City's overall points totals.

Even though didn’t add anything at the beginning of the summer they still look pretty good.

They have put themselves in a good position.

But even better is getting to play last place Southampton between the PSG games

Great point about the Southampton game. No games are easy, but The Saints shouldn't be too much for Liverpool to handle.

Liverpool tops Everton in the Merseyside Derby. Arsenal wins. Liverpool maintains a 12 point lead with 8 matches remaining.

The Prem's Cinderella Story is 3rd place Nottingham Forest, who look now like a lock to secure a Champions League spot. They finished just above the drop zone last season in their first season back in the Prem.

Speaking of the drop zone, last year's promoted clubs, Southampton, Ipswich Town, and Leicester City all look to go down again. Wolves sit 9 points above the drop zone.

Can't see them relinquishing the top spot at this point. And NF is such a great story, made better for me by seeing Man U well down in the standings!

Liverpool only needs one more point, earned or dropped by Arsenal, for the trophy. Arsenal doesn't play this weekend while Spurs come to Anfield. Put the Carlsberg on ice. YNWA

The title goes to Liverpool!

Repeat next year and they take their rightful place alone atop the all-time top flight standings.

Incredible season by a team that was criticized early in the season for not making a major signing.
