Good question. I thought Matz was the pitcher of record when they scored the winning run.

I loved the play, and realize we need to trade him. I also realize we have NOTHING remotely close to his defense in the minors. And there's no bat that can offset the drop in defense. So...it's a strange situation to be in.
With a reset of payroll, you need to shed that contract. Do it this offseason if you can, or maybe someone desperate comes a calling in July
We will get nothing of value for NA because of his contract. He won the game yesterday and tied it today plus defensive play in 9th.
Not happening. We don't need payroll savings

The official scorer has the right to make the decision to not give the win to the pitcher who last pitched before his team takes the lead. Don’t see it often.

Also, I know Burleson and Walker tend to catch a lot of flack
They both stepped up when it mattered today
