I wouldn't have expected Donovan to make that sort of mistake. That's a killer to give up a second run because he didn't take the sure out.

why did he do that. Just cost us a 2nd run on the sac fly. Also was he not close enough to just tag the runner as he fielded the ball then flip to 1b?

Because this team like last year is horrible at fundamentals and are not being coached. You never throw home playing that far back.
