A lot of bad luck in there with event sequencing, no doubt.

i also think (13starts) isnt the length of his struggles. its really been more like last 7. he had a 2.86 era before june 26th. hes since had 4 bad starts out of 7. 2 in a row then a few good ones then 2 bad ones again these last 2 starts. just a rough patch. he gave up 2 homeruns in 2 of those 4 starts but his strikeouts have remained consistent and he only walked a bunch in one of those bad starts

Would take "Skenes Kinda Sucks" over Cardinals sucks any day. Would presuppose that 99% of MLB would feel the same way.
