Are teams adjusting against him? He doesn't seem very comfortable in the batter's box lately.
What do you think??
He doesn't have an opinion, he waits for everyone else to provide one and he picks whichever he prefers at that moment.
And then he makes a daily post about said opinion for an undisclosed amount of time
Sadly that is true. Nothing wrong with the topic but they are often:
Rhetorical
Open ended
Constantly repetitive
Something going on for sure at that end?
Anyway:
JJ comes out strong
Pitchers adjust
JJ Re-adjusts
Pitchers Re-adjust again
And so on and so on.

I'll remind my "Add foes" again. You can keep "peeing into the wind" all you want. But I won't dignify your trash by responding to it.
You just did as usual. We all know you keep reading. You cannot resist. I've been "Add Foe" for quite a while now and you keep responding.

Shedy PAY ATTENTION - Rock posted some numbers, notice the OBP .356. Focus on that more the BA. I know it's tough, only having 1 1/2 brain cells makes it hard for you to keep up
The "Idiot" is strong with this one! How about another next Joey Votto thread or that Burly is a better player than Soto? Those "dumb" posts were at least entertaining train wrecks.

wetherholt bats leadoff and the very high .356 obp is more important than the .233.battimg average. he no dlubt has had a slump, but im not concerned. he still got a walk in 4 of the last 5 games.
babip will vary, and he probably rebounds to hit better but even if he doesnt, .233.is acceptable as long as it comes with a .356 obp.
he is dping his job at getting on base. thats what a leadoff hitters role is.

I'm more concerned with OBP and he is fine there. Takes very good ABs and that's all I can ask for.
I'm with you on that. However, right now, Wetherholt is not the "All World" pure hitter some advertised him to be. I'm pretty sure he'll get better with more experience against MLB pitching.
he is ypung. ypung hitters take time. look how many years it took burly in majors to get to where he is now. he struggled badly a cpulke years before reaching it.
and anyways, batting average is important if you are trying to drive in runners with in scoring position as you need a hit then, but batting leadoff, obp is literally the most important szat for that spot in the lineup. his job is to get on base and he is doing that.
im not expecting jj wetherholt to be a #3 hitter or mvp candidate. i never expected that. i actually thought he might struggle more this year like many roomies but am happy with the production he has given.
league average ops is at .708 and hes at
757 so hes an above average hitter.
league average obp is .319 and hes at .356 so he is definitely doing his job as leadoff hitter to get on base.

It would also be nice if he could hit like George Brett. Maybe he will one of these days.
George Brett hit .228 over his first 208 PA
So no worries. Wetherholt will end up being a George Brett-type hitter. Is that what you are hinting at? Wetherholt was heralded as a special hitter, by some, coming out of college. He may get there. Right now, he's a very good leadoff hitter. Not necessarily a special hitter. That's all I'm getting at. Spin it anyway my critics choose to. But I'm just telling it like it is, currently.

And he crushed at Memphis and yet you think Baez who is struggling at Memphis and has trouble making contact will come up and be good lol

Baez is a slugger that strikes out a lot. It happens. Ex. Dave Kingman, Adam Dunn, etc.

So to be clear, you're now saying Burleson is not a "special hitter."

Dave kingman hit .278 at AAA and Dunn hit .329 at AAA they hit very well at AAA and their contact issues issues caught up
To them in the majors. Baez isn’t doing nearly as well as those guys did at AAA. So with guys with contact issues you can expect a drop off once they go to the majors so a guy batting .232 a drop off would be pretty ugly
