Great AB by Walker. Took a low pitch that was super close, then almost destroyed a high fastball, then walks.

time to bring up Jordan to split time at 1B with Burley. This may help Burley get another Part time Silver Slugger
and when not playing, he could strengthen our anemic bench

If Gorman went up there and held the bat on his shoulder he’d be up 3-1 in the count, instead a strikeout. Sproat sucks at throwing strikes.

if Pallante continues to pitch horribly today, I say leave him out there....no need to blow the BP heading into the Road Trip...take one for the Team (BP), Pallante

Gorman another pathetic at bat. Can’t wait for them move someone else up to fifth he gets RBIs but that’s only because of the sheer volume of runners he has on ahead of him all the time he’s not good with runners in scoring position

He’s played quite a bit of third also this season maybe he could play some there and we can get some offense from there Gorman can be a late inning defensive replacement since his bat sucks lol

If his current iteration (.225 avg 25hr 60rbi .680OPS 500ab extrapolation) is expected to be his ceiling at this point, Gorman's the perfect 7 hitter. Problem is, that only fits if he's playing 2b because a contending team clearly needs more from 3b.

I guess the Unikkkorn mantle continues to fit.

Agree on both points. The bench is awful. Oddly, Blaze has reverse splits this year - .979 vs RHP; .868 vs LHP (still very good and 3 HR in only 27 AB). He had .801 OPS last year vs LHP.
