Does it really make a difference ? Bloom/ Oli are playing these reserves to see which ones they keep for the final 26. There are 3 or 4 guys vying for a few spots .
Of those other 9 spots there are certain guys already “guaranteed” roster spots who may not deserve it. Not like Any of them are actually previous all stars or high career WAR proven players.

4 bench spots are Fermin, Saggese, Church and catcher, so maybe 1 spot open non pitching? Well, then there is Noots IL replacement ...

So maybe 2 spots out of ST. Seems like a double edged sword; you want to get the 24 you know you are keeping playing time, but simultaneously allow the other group enough playing time to impress.
