Nice admission. You fall in the same category as most posters. The difference is, you admit you don’t know. I don’t know either. And the daily cry babies don’t know a thing.greyhawk wrote: ↑23 Feb 2026 20:41 pmnot my job and not my area of knowledge or expertise -- i don't know what other teams have that they would trade for either, i am just suggesting the cardinals have to have an internal notion of their worth and what they would listen to and might accept in any trade.Shady wrote: ↑23 Feb 2026 17:40 pmWhat realistic deal would you trade either Winn or Wetherholt for, right now?greyhawk wrote: ↑23 Feb 2026 17:36 pmdid you ever watch heaven can wait with warren beatty?? its fiction but in the movie warren beatty's character offers 250% of the value of the rams --- the old owner while in tears can't believe he paid that for his rams that he absolutely didn't want to sell. if someone blows away your own perceived value of a can't touch player, don't you have to listen and likely make the deal?
Are these the top four hitters in the Cardinals organization right now?

And that’s all he is. I'm positive Bloom will be looking to replace him and players like him ASAP. Take a look at Luis Arraez if you want to know what happens to their career trajectory after they aren't cheap anymore. And you should reach out to Burleson and let him know about that knee bend.Shady wrote: ↑23 Feb 2026 20:35 pmBurleson is a really good MLB hitter. But I kind of agree. He could use a little more knee bend. It might help him deliver more power.Voldemort wrote: ↑23 Feb 2026 20:28 pmI claim to be an ex-expert. As I noted in one of my posts, most of the experts I have met didn't know much at all. Burleson is too vertical or upright. He needs to make the changes that the videos show Walker is attempting. However, as a former hitting coach, I would have to see whether Burleson is failing before I would suggest any changes. Take anything I saw with more than a grain of salt.

Of the current position players, Burleson will likely be one of the first to be extended. Hitters like Burleson "don't grow on trees". Ex. Walker, Gorman, Scott, etc.2ninr wrote: ↑24 Feb 2026 04:19 amAnd that’s all he is. I'm positive Bloom will be looking to replace him and players like him ASAP. Keep telling yourself that. If they extend him it would be on a team friendly deal. He is a good hitter on a bad team. 1 tool.Shady wrote: ↑24 Feb 2026 08:51 amOf the current position players, Burleson will likely be one of the first to be extended.
