I have no idea how he will perform….and neither do you…

but I think all these expectations might lead the club to rush him to the bigs, and given the overall state of the club there is no need for that..

I have a much better idea than you. Watched hkm play extensively throughout the minors. The kid is a natural player. No rushing going on. He was ready last year.

The key word in your comment is “minors”….

Yeah, that's where players come from, guy. Most guys play there first. Wetherholt isn't a "hope" or a "wish". The kid can flat out play ball. His intangibles are what set his excellent skills apart from others. Some stuff cannot be taught. He has that.
