IF he clears waivers, the Cards can outright him to AAA and keep him.

I think he'd be similar to if Walker was left unprotected. Somebody is going to be smart enough to give him a shot. I think Ramos is worth giving a shot.

I was, at least, intrigued to see how he would do in spring training. Maybe it will still work out.

It appears that the Cardinals hope that he will clear waivers so they can assign him to Memphis.

Short of tearing up camp and making the team, that is probably the best outcome.

I think, for this team its a bit of a loss. A very good defensive 3b, right hand hitter, who is low cost, low risk, who is worth a shot to see if his early struggles were injury related.

No, losing him isn't going to change this team, but I hate giving up on a guy who could process, and doesn't cost the team anything.
