Finally. A light at the end of the tunnel. It might be a locomotive, but it’s still a light.
First business- temperature check. How cold are ya? 27 here.
February. Super Bowl next Sunday. Then pitchers and catchers between 10-13 February. Then Daytona 500.
That puts us to ST games. 17 February.
Seems like a bit since final out of WS. And a long cold winter.
In the winter time. When the leaves are brown. And the wind blows.
February!
Finally. February.

Check. I did give this some thought. Baseball has a prime window of dominance from 1 June till 1 September. NBA and NHl finals will end.dugoutrex wrote: ↑01 Feb 2026 10:13 amdon't forget the NBA all-star game!sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑01 Feb 2026 07:11 am Good morning.

Baseball could really help themselves with a saturation of baseball in that time. 90 days.
Only competition would be golf and nascar.

I can't wait until Spring Training starts, especially this year. The Blues friggin' suck, I lost interest in college basketball around the Quinn Snyder era, and I really don't care who wins the Super Bowl. Give me the pop of a fastball on a catchers mitt and the crack of the bat, and all will be well with my soul.

It will be a long boring summer of baseball.
I think The Mo induced PTSD CT crowd have forgotten what a MLB Season is supposed to be.
Put the best team on the field, go compete and WIN
Having a loser Manager who was extended so he has NO PRESSURE TO WIN
Sitting on 80mil while the ML club requires talent to compete
And then acting like nothing can be done about the first 2 above because they have to draft and WAIT on prospects who might not even make it……
The FA market is expensive. That and the lockout probably coincide with an opportunity to scale back and reevaluate things.

On a full moon night in the Rocky Mountain winter.
My wine bottle's low, watching for the snow
Thinkin' about what I've been missin' in the city.
And I'm not missin' a thing

13 degrees here. I hate winter. Fortunately, the days waiting for baseball are growing shorter. I need me some baseball right now! Per the comment on the Super Bowl, I won't be watching. Blues? WTF??? They find ways to lose and lose both early and late in games. I no longer follow college hoops. Kentucky??? I do follow HS sports, so there is that.

There are several class 2 or 3 on the schedule…….just saying the record is better than the team..
Not their fault…not many class 5 in the heel…, and they have to play someone
