We can see why Cantwell made his decision. Miami is warm, $ & the U is in the CFP. It's just zucks that we have a top player from our state whose parents are Mizzou alums & we can't get him to play for Mizzou. You'd like to think you could win a battle for a guy with those ties. Coral Gables is a WHOLE LOT different than Nixa, MO. Like day and night different. I'm sure it was nearly all about the $$$ though and because of that MU was never seriously considered. Wish him the best!

So, after 3 years $6 mil vs 4.5 mil

As for your guess, it's exactly that for a reason. $1.5 million would be his floor at Mizzou. His ceiling could be double or triple that with the support of people who will actually care about him.
