My realistic guess for Blues draft picks this year, some one out of this group:
Malhotra
Roobroeck
Hermansson
Novotny
Nordmark
Drafting somehwere in the mid to early teens
1- I think Malhotra ends up in the top 10.
2- As a consolation; I would point you at Ilia Morozov as a player to watch. Kid looks every bit the part of a Jordan Staal/Eriksson Ek type shut down center.
I hate to ask this question, because I don’t think it’s very fair question to ask, but Alex Turcotte‘s name was circling around here in another thread. How does Tynan Lawrence (5’-11” 170 lbs) compare to Turcotte (5’-11” 185 lbs) at Center?
I noticed both had experience in the USHL before being drafted.
Turcotte - 47 GP, 20 G, 46 A, 66 Points Lawrence - 67 GP, 34 G, 35 A, 69 Points (nice)
Lawrence's hockey sense is on another planet compared to Turcotte.
Turcotte was on a loaded USNTDP team(Hughes, Zegras, Caufield, Boldy, York) and rode his teammates to inflated stats.
Lawrence is doing this pretty much on his own.
It's also important to note that the USHL has gotten substantially better over the last 5 years. The USNT used to treat that league as the Washington Generals. Anymore, the USNT is the worst team in the League.

Interesting, thanks for the response! I hadn’t realized there was a dramatic change in the competition.
