CF: Pete Crow-Armstrong — Chicago Cubs, was he better than Victor Scott II?
Looks like it has already been answered, but I wouldn't have known enough either way. PCA was pretty great defensively, but also had the insane first half offensively. And the media seems to love him. I know that offense and media shouldn't matter, but it seems like it always have. I can't argue with them giving it to PCA, though.

But even being in the finals for the GG is impressive. Hopefully VSII can get his offense up to a level where he gets some of that rub in the future.

Top of the cap to Winn..

Missed just about every bit of it. Happy for him nonetheless.

I have posted this several times and will again. If he hits .250 with 5-10 dingers he can play SS for me for a decade. The guy steals runs. You see it almost daily. A throw that only one or two other SS can make, a double play that looks like it cannot be turned, but his arm nails the runner. His career OPS is .680. It is not a stretch to think he will improve, especially with a better lineup around him, and maybe get that over .700. He just needs to be good enough to bat 8 or 9 and anchor the D. Anything better at the plate is a bonus. You build around him and hopefully JJ if he isn't all hype and actually can hit in MLB. There is half your IF for the next 5 years.

Agree

Other than JJW, Doyle, R.R. and Hererra I'd listen on everyone else.

But I'd only deal Winn if C. Bloom is overwhelmed w/an offer of a young starting pitcher w/years of control and solid upside.

Two big ifs but IF JJ hits like we hope and plays solid D at 2B, and IF Scott hits enough to hold down the 9th position in the order THEN the team is set up the middle for several years.

And congrats to Winn. This was earned not handed out for name recognition.
