It doesn’t make any difference to me, it’s a fact. The Oshie in Washington is not the same one we had.MandatoryDenial wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 11:45 amI honestly don't understand this comment. A player makes a comment on a coach and then you trade him for way less then market value.... O'k, yeah I guess if you think it makes you feel better?

Why folks fail — or refuse — to understand this is baffling.netboy65 wrote: ↑22 Oct 2025 14:35 pmIt doesn’t make any difference to me, it’s a fact. Oshie was a playoff no-show with Blues*: 30 games, 9 points, -12. What's more, he was 27 or 28 at the time of the trade, hardly a spring chicken by pro sports standards.
Brouwer played 20 playoff games that season, netting eight goals, 13 points, -1. He was 29 or 30.
*In fairness to Oshie, none of the Boy Band fared well in the playoffs. Was it the coaching, the team dynamics, something else? At that point, Berglund had 6 goals in 29 games, -4; Perron 19 games, 2 goals, -4. Backes (IMO, not part of the Boy Band) 29 games, 5 goals, -5. Team needed a shakeup, and competed in conference final.
