Dodgers with some vintage 2025 Cardinals base running.

Dodgers
The Brewers obviously knew it was a force. The Dodgers obviously did not.
The rabbit's foot is with the Brewers. Bad omen for LA.

Good for the Brewers on that DP. The CF didn’t panic after the ball popped out and hit the wall. He stayed with it, made the relay throw, and got the guy at home. Then they were with it enough to know to get the force at third. That kind of heads up play that we haven’t seen very often around St. Louis.

Brewers can't touch Snell

Freeman with a towering solo HR. 49 degree LA. 2nd highest in Statcast Era.
Luckily, it didn't hit the stupid a** dome.

They only got the force at home because the runner at third who was correctly standing on the bag as Frelick attempted to catch it, then broke for home about 3 or 4 steps, stopped and retreated back to 3rd to tag again ( as he saw the ball popping back in Frelick’s glove not realizing it had hit thewall and was in play).Ronnie Dobbs wrote: ↑13 Oct 2025 20:29 pm Good for the Brewers on that DP. Without that the runner on 3rd can run half speed and still score. Freakish lucky play.
If Frelick catches it clean, the runner scores too.
PS the 3rd base Dodger coach didn’t help any either as if he had looked at LF umpire, he would have seen him giving the ‘safe’ sign meaning ..no catch the ball is in play. Coach shoud be yelling to runner Go Go Go.

1-0 after seven.
Snell has retired the last 14 Brewers in a row.

Re: Dodgers/Brewers .. Who takes the best of 7 ?
Snell is not getting Kevin Cashed tonight. Roberts knows his pen sucks. Though you might see Sasaki in the 9th.

Snell a 1-hit SO through 8. Does he finish it?
