Or even if, even if, you love Burly ever more.
I’m calling Henley. I think we got us a hit. By the way, bad (bleep) album.

Really, Dog? I actually liked the album, so I disagree and hey, man, I Will Not Go Quietly.

If you wanna rebut my opinion, we’ll Gimme What You Got and How Bad Do You Want It?

The bottom line as a wise old dog said (in a different thread), I guess there ain’t no good guys, there ain’t no bad guys, it’s only you and me and we just disagree!

I’m guessing that the few guys under 50 on Cards Talk are  their eyes at our musical interludes!!

You misunderstood. I think it’s a killer album. No disagreement here. Doesn’t it have NY Minute on it.

The album- End of the Innocence- third solo album.

Aha! The Post Disgrace Nannie’s censored you and all I could see was “bad (bleep) album”. Obviously you meant bad as in good!

And yes, that album had NY Minute as well as the other titles I rolled into my Dad Joke style quip ! I loved the “dark lyrics” of NY Minute. Poor Harry.

Exactly. Bad as in good. And yes Harry but, I guess it doesn’t matter anymore.

Old Shady has started his same stench over at the Mizzou forum recently. Such a joy getting to see his incredible insights on multi forums now! He is not just a baseball "Wiz".
But I doubt if you'll not click on my OPs and posts. Please try to if they bother you. It's really quite a simple solution.
I will always click on your posts and OPs Shader. I would not consider missing out on your vast intellect and thought provoking ideas. Just wanted to make sure that other posters know that your vast intellect is not just regarding baseball, as it carries over to other sports as well. Take care now.

I just wish he was half as good as you think he is!

So who was a better hitter, overall, for the Cardinals last season? Taking strikeout rates into consideration. And who was more of a production/salary value.

I wonder?
If we somehow had a thread on CT titled “Middle Eastern Peace Talks Progressing” if a certain poster could slip Burleson into the discussion????? 😳

I'll take Burleson over Herrera against really good RHP with sharp breaking balls. Herrera whiffs too much on pircthes outside the strikeout zone. Burleson, not so much.

Burleson K'd 79 times. Herrera K'd 84 times. Burley was better, yes, but it's really close. Do you even look this stuff up? You can't possibly build a solid argument around this.

Get your nose out of Burly's (donkey). Then maybe you will see the truth. The truth being that on a good team (say the Dodgers) Burly's (donkey) will be on the bench.
Where would Walker and Gorman be? Would they even be on the Dodgers team? Live and learn, for some again next season, when Burleson continues to improve as as MLB hitter. My hope, it includes more power. And it could.
If you'd learn to read and understand. I never said anything about Walker or Gorman. May comment was in reference to your statement about Burly "He's a fabulous MLB hitter ". He is not and will not be a fabulous MLB hitter. He's a decent player but not a great one. Now learn to read and understand, for godsakes get your nose out of Burly's (donkey).

I will say this about Walker, at age 21 he was playing in the MLB and had an OPS of .787. At that same age (21) Judge was still in college learning. Fast forward at age 24 Judge was in the MLB with an OPS of .608, Walker will be 24 this coming year, however at age 23 Walker is in the MLB with an OPS of .584.

Age 25 Judge went nuts is now one of the best around. Why don't we wait and see what Walker does the next year or so.

Gorman, well I'll say this he had better numbers in AAA then Judge at a younger age. He has not developed in the MLB the way he should have. His fault, probably. Maybe a little of bad coaching.
