By spring training, the Cardinals will look much different than the end of 2025. Think those looking for minor moves here still have Mo on their brain. New sheriff in town and he will do things his way . Buckle up ! You may or may not like the moves but they are coming in the next four months . Enjoy !
Cleaning house refers to management. The roster is just the roster and has turnover every year.
When will we need the management and coaches cleaned up? I'm waiting.
Esp with Oli coming back, will Bloom keep the under-performing coaches?

I’m cautiously optimistic too. It’s not like he hasn’t been here for two years already and should have plenty of moves already in mind. Plenty of insight to act quickly and responsibly.
and smartly, unlike idiot MO

Mo would trade 5 birds in hand and for two turds in the bush.

Apparently, the first step in "cleaning house" is to make sure no on touches the large pile of dirt in the living room.
Because the architects tell us it belongs there.

I still believe Bloom was brought in to enhance the selling of the Cardinals. They are absolute in clearing out long term expensive contracts and not replacing them. And this is silly, Bloom has been running the show.
I'm seeing what your seeing, but with a different conclusion. I think they are planning for a long work stoppage and a resumption with a salary cap. The lack of long term deals allows the team to start with almost a blank slate. No contracts that require cutting talent to get another guys deal under the cap. All long term contracts will be signed to maximize cap value.
I think they've cut into the franchise value at this point. The announcement that attendance drop off was more than the Rays and A's who both moved into MiLB stadiums this year. You're not doing that if your trying to sell the St. Louis Cardinals.
