Cards played their last home games. Out of the playoffs for the 3rd straight year.
My Cowboys lost to frikken Tulsa.
The Dallas Cowboys lost to a team loved by Cubs fans.
And the Denver Broncos lost in the final seconds, again.
Never thought it would come to this, but The NBA can’t get here soon enough. Thunder watch. Let’s repeat as Champs!
Caleb Williams looked fantastic on Sunday
Go Bears! #BearDown
Needed that one after my Illini got boat raced in prime time. I’ve always known better than putting any emotional energy into the football team. Illini basketball, though… prepare for the Balkan Five!

What is a Thunder and what will they win if they repeat?
I wasn't aware that you were a fan of Okie light and the Dallas Cowboys, plus the OKC NBA team. Ignore my previous comment, I know what the Thunder is, I just have no use for the NBA. None.

Same here. I’ve never been interested in basketball, especially the NBA. As soon as October starts, I focus on one thing:

Time for BLUUUUUUUES HOCKEY, Baby!
I kind of followed the NBA until Jordan and his peers faded. New age basketball is not my cup of tea. Tried to watch the Blues back when they started, but it never got engrained. Just baseball for me.

I got just a little bit interested in the STL Hawks in the mid 60’s. The “Big Z”, Zelmo Beatty, lived on Landseer Drive in my North County neighborhood. But when the NHL expanded and created the Blues, I went head over heels for hockey. I was 13 at that time.
BTW, Big Z was a nice man to us snot nosed kids in the subdivision. He could also paint the gutters & fascia of his house without a ladder!
Ironically, since I’m not an NBA fan, I’ve lived in the city of the NBA champs more than championships for any other sport. I lived in suburban Chicago in the early 90’s when MJ and the Bulls won 3. Then got transferred to Houston in 1994 when MJ was off playing baseball and the Rockets won 2. Then in 2005 transferred to San Antonio where the Spurs won 3 more. Go figure.

OKC is going to be so good again!
and the best part is we have 6-6 rookie G Topic coming in this year. If healthy, He might even be better/more effective that Cooper Flagg.
I am a OKC fan as well. Took my son to game about 5 years ago. I they have the potential to be better wih healthy Chet and I Hart to start the season. Not to mention JDub their #2 scorer who played throughout the playoffs with a bad shooting wrist healthy. Very young team with room to grow.
Topic is like the Cards rookies to me. I am not counting on anything from him. He is not that athletic in my opinion. He lacks jumping ability and physicality,. He is fast nd makes quick decisions but had several shots blocked and very few rebounds. He is not a plus defender either. He could improve but right now I am not counting on him at all. I liked Sorber more and its a shame he went down. He is like I hart when it comes to passing, has good length, and is more athletic.

Yeah, and the hockey team I’ve loved for 58 years has won a grand total of ONE championship. And I had to pay $3800 for 4 tickets and drive up from San Antonio to see them LOSE Game 3 7-2 in 2019! The Sports gods work in mysterious ways!
