Isn't hockey preseason one of the most eggregious in terms of non coherant lineups? Each line is playing individually. They aren't playing a specific system for the win. The players are trying to play with their linemates to create single opportunities. Road groups travel different rosters. They literally have the least amount of practice before their first game in any sport. Baseball has a whole spring training regime. Football even has a couple weeks tho their practice isn't so much a practice anymore.

This is a funny post. Winning the preseason is no ones goal I can guarantee you that.

I never said anything about winning the games… Just a little concerning that we have two goals in two games… it’s mostly trying to play it off as joke(ish) post but, I am gonna be honest I expected way more than that.

Not to pile on after the tackle, but....

Our team was trying to put the puck in the net past prospects, not NHL goalies.

Minnesota and Columbus were up against Binnington and Hofer for most of the game.

Do you think that Army was trying to "HIDE SOMETHING" with his goalie starts?

Not crazy about the shots on goal in Dallas but so many factors involved in preseason I am not concerned what so ever.

The pre-season standings are not historically indicative of regular season standings.

Also with a lot of the Blues’ offense being driven by their D, and so far no Fowler, Parayko or Faulk that probably has an impact as well. Broberg and Mailloux are the only D dressed so far that one would expect to drive offense from the back line this season. And Jiricek had no help yesterday.
