Wilson also does not appear to be a long term solution with this team in rebuild mode, and it should be about players looking to be here 5 years from now. I am one that is hoping he is convinced to go to a contender in the off season.

Tell Milwaukee that. They have had lower caps than the Cards and continue to finish ahead of the Cards. This season they have the best record in baseball.

Whatever, he is still earning that $18 million at 2.6 WAR. Meanwhile, the Yanks are paying Goldschmidt $12.5 million for 0.9 WAR.

And, BTW, the Brewers are paying Yelich $24 million for 2.5 WAR. You think Brewers fans are complaining?

Bottom line: Why should Cards fans complain about players who are earning their keep?
