One positive thing about Alcantara is that his contract keeps his value down. On BTV, he's running around 11-14 in value around or below the likes of Burleson (13.5), Nootbaar (20.2), Herrera (22.0) so trading one of them for Alcantara would be a fair trade for both teams.

Burleson straight up for Alcantara? IF the Fish have anyone in scouting department and FO who can spell MLB it could and would never happen. Marmot would throw some bromance fit.

6 of his last 8 starts were a return to Cy Young level stuff. If he finishes the season in a similar manner he will have a lot of value.
