Exactly, he's so far away from the plate there's no such thing as an inside pitch. If he moves where a normal distance would be they would bust him inside and he wouldn't be able to handle it. That's my theory anyway.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 18:10 pmI can't remember anyone ever trying to throw inside on him. They all go for the breaking stuff far away.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 18:09 pmCan 't handle the inside pitch?blackinkbiz wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 18:05 pm Walker does stand too far from the plate IMO. Especially since no pitcher ever throws inside on him. For Pete's sake why not trying moving closer?
And Walker calls timeout after getting 2 strikes so he can delay whiffing on the next pitch. It's like watching an instant replay, always the same result. This guy will never figure it out...unless he's traded.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 18:24 pm That's why SaggyT's a JAG. Whiffs on a 91mph meatball down the middle. This team can't hit FBs. Probably their biggest offensive weakness.
I mean right there. First off, after his infuriating 2-strike timeout that he does EVERY FREAKING TIME, he's sooooo far from the plate that when someone throws him something on the outer half, he has to wait that extra thousandth of a second to make sure it's not a breaking pitch so when he does swing he's always late.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑29 Aug 2025 18:15 pmExactly, he's so far away from the plate there's no such thing as an inside pitch.
