His control started cracking late last inning....exasperated this inning

Two hard-hit balls and two walks are Davis' fault, but that 5-bounce grounder was crazy - the second baseman looked like he was in quicksand.

This is my opinion on Davis....1st, I think he could wind up being the Sonny Gray of LHP....his stuff is that good. Knock on wood he stays healthy unlike Gray.

BUT....I think he's headed towards Long Reliever....he breaks down too much, more than you want from a starter after the 1st time thru the order. Better players will be taking his pitches in AAA, the walks could increase...dramatically once he gets to Memphis.
