This line up is exactly what I’ve been complaining about. If it’s a line up Oli is being told to play, then yes, the Cardinals are lying about wanting to see “ WHAT WE HAVE “! If it’s all on Oli, then he isn’t standing by the company dictates and just doing his own thing!
He definitely won’t sit certain players and others he just won’t play consistently. Gorman is only playing because Arenado is out and Saggese because Donovan is. Oli doesn’t give a rat’s behind about trying to elevate certain players, if it means sitting his favored ones.
Hopefully, this will get his behind ousted!

What do the Cards do this series? Win none, Win one, or Sweep?

This team plays badly against weaker teams. It's quite frustrating. They could have the 1st WC locked up easily if they just took care of the bad teams like you're supposed to...

Hope to be wrong, but I think they lose two out of three.

okcardfan wrote: 11 Aug 2025 14:36 pm I would send Hampson down, bring up Nathan Church, and play Church in CF for a while in place of Victor. Church can switch to lf or rf if/when you want to play Victor vs RHers.
There's a secondary reason to bring up Church.

For a very long time Cardinals have needed a LO hitter.
It may be a partial reason for Nootbaar in the lineup tonight.

Church bring a lot of speed. Seeing if he can bring that .350+ OBP to the MLB would be nice.

Going from the cubs to Rockies definitely lost the "crowd" momentum. Back to 10,000 for this game it looks like

Y'all are funny complaining about sitting 'the hottest batter' based on four lousy games.

How about the four before that, when Walker slugged 133 with five K's. Bet y'all weren't yelling to bench him then.

Or maybe you were.
