Not sure I understand the conjecture with Bloom???
Molina is here to observe and learn from Oli.
Learn what exactly??

Hiring Molina would excite the fan base. But they still need to win. I am pretty sure when Bloom was hired all manager scenarios were discussed and agreed upon. And last night's appearance as a "honorary coach" was part of the plan. I don't remember that distinction ever offered before.

Learn what NOT to do as a Manager.

So do you think Molina will be manager next season?

Yes I have yet to see you post anything regarding Bloom except trashing him.

I think youre reading too much into it. He was in town and the Cardinals invited him to be in the dugout. If anything, it's an attempt to create some buzz for the fans.

He may let marmol finish his contract. Especially if they are not serious about competing in 2026.

Second, pretty sure that was agreed upon w/BDWJr before he accepted the job

Third, if he does choose Yadi (or Albert) it will be because he wants them and no Dewitt

Fourth, I don't think there would be any clash of egos.........the egomaniac POBO is retiring and Bloom seems to be the antithesis of Mo
This is the correct take.

Don't know if the Cardinals will keep Oli or not, but I don't expect that Molina will be the manager in 2026.

Manly because:

1. He's proved nothing as a manager.
2. it would be so hard to fire him.

Neither do I but who knows?

The worst move would be to retain Oli if the franchise is truly suppose to be turning over a new leaf and moving on from the Mo era.

If the club is performing poorly, why would it be hard to fire him?

Molina's fans see no evil with him. They think he's the toughest, smartest, and greatest leader in the history of baseball.

They'd blame any failure on others, and they'd scream bloody murder if he were canned.

So….

They would rather lose with molina, than perhaps win with someone else …

Remarkable

They wouldn't see it in those terms. They'd claim others were at fault. They'd say Yadi wasn't given a fair shot because bla bla bla.

I hate to think of bad things would have to get before these people would agree that Molina needed to be fired.
