When I attended opening day, even though there was booing in the stadium for BDW and especially Mo, I didn’t hear any booing in the section where I was sitting - section 148. I posted that at the time. There’s a poster on here that continually references section 148. It’s his way of subtly trolling me as he stalks me around on here little a dog in heat. He tries to be subtle in his stalking and trolling because he’s been warned to put me on ignore and not stalk and troll by the powers to be.
I guess we all have stories…….again you believe Mo is leaving this org in a GOOD spot??
When he took over SELLOUTS
Now Empty Stadium
All-stars up and down the lineup
Now middling talent at best
TLR/Dunc working magic with staff
Now we have a Dusty and Oli
Sad thing is BDW/MO had THE TEMPLATE and they burned it and went their own direction.

IMO, it will be better as soon as he retires and is out of baseball decision making for the Cardinals.
+ 10,000,000
At least 90 or more wins in 3 out of the past 5 full seasons. Truly despicable. Goldfan’s on it.
No internal SP
No OF talent
No Catching Talent
Another year of selling at deadline
Less than 20k in Busch nightly
No stars
Obligatory 1 Allstar
With no real plan for this to improve
What am I and apparently many other on CT missing?
This is a hopeful future full of success you see??
Ummm what? I get the rest of it, but you don’t have to make up stuff to extend your point.
So Pages/Pozo are your C talent?? I suppose barely satisfactory if all other inferior spots are upgraded
You probably need to follow Crooks at Memphis and Bernal at Springfield, Goldfan. It might help you create more credibility in your posts about catcher.
Remember when Herrera was the great hope to replace retiring Yadi…….sure he can hit…..but he’s not a catcher, he can’t throw
But yet we were given the HOPE of his greatness…..but he’s can’t throw

I hope Bloom is allowed to clean house this winter. It'll be an eventful and entertaining offseason. Much better than Mo's usual hibernation.
That would mean two things. The same owner that allowed Mo to drive this organization into an unbelievable mess and kept him in the job even this year. Mo should have been relieved of his duties 7-8 years ago. So I’m guessing MLB has moved beyond the current owners, they don’t seem to care about keeping up and competing at the major league level. The other would be that Bloom is an unbelievable capable magician and can make something of this current disaster even without ownership help. I doubt ownership is going to change their ways and get 8 or 9 quality free agents which is what it would require. I hope he is, but doubtful.
I'm afraid it's going to take some time...Mo-ran's incompetence has hamstrung this franchise and the fans are (upset)...it will take something big to get them back and excited again...a star or two would be nice.

It's amazing what winning can mask.
Until 2023, I thought all of the Mo haters were out of their mind. Just didn't see the writing on the wall I guess.
To be fair, though, I don't think anyone could have foreseen Arenado falling so far so fast. He's definitely a microcosm of why this ship sank to the bottom.
Last, if JWalk, Gorman, Herrera, JJ, and Wynn can become the nucleus of a winner, Mo will have played a big part in that. But hmmm.... seems like there's something missing from that equation. Oh yeah ...
THIS ORG HAS NO F'N STARTING PITCHING!!

THIS ORG HAS NO (Ef'En) STARTING PITCHING!!
No OF
No SP
No C
Huge salary drain that returns nothing at 3B
A slightly above avg SS
A solid 2b
A solid 34 yr old 1b
They have ONE potential start at AAA in Wetherholt but beyond that nothing to speak of
Perhaps solid DH’ in Herrera/Burly
This is what MO is leaving
After going 71-91 2 yrs ago
Shameful

The truth is so easily available.

ST. LOUIS – Three key executives of the St. Louis Cardinals, Chairman Bill DeWitt Jr., President Bill DeWitt III, and President of Baseball Operations John Mozeliak, were all met with audible boos during the team’s Opening Day introductions Thursday afternoon.

I was there...it was loud...people came and booed and most have stop going to games...regardless of excuses...it's not a fun atmosphere to watch a game

Answer the question
Could this org reasonably be in a worse position as Mo leaves at the end of the year???

Has our MO reached peak rock bottom for the STL. Cardinals?
I guess there is always a worse spot to be in……but after reaching the heights of MLB with all the accolades up and down the entire organization a decade ago….
From that lofty perch…..could it be possible for him to leave this team any less prospect less, Any less talent at ML level, Any less star power, Any less of a capable field management??
Any More capable of destroying night after night sellouts at Busch??
I would say he’s come as close to becoming the Pirates, Marlins, Nats as anyone could possibly do that in STL
Cards did just fine under Mo. Could be the Padres, or Mariners or Rays or Brewers. Never tasted that WS
The winner of three Executive of the Year awards, Mozeliak has overseen the Cardinals make playoff appearances in six years, win one World Series title, and two National League pennants.
They have had a winning record in all but one season (2023) since he was appointed general manager. The Cardinals' minor league farm system has received numerous accolades following the volume of prospects that have succeeded at the major league level, including Baseball America bestowing the franchise with the Organization of the Year Award in 2011 and 2013. Mozeliak is signed through the 2025 season.

I have no Halo, Craviduce. I'm just a normal average poster who doesn't like to be stalked and trolled every time I post.
You wouldn't like it either. Especially if it had gone on for over a year. Would you?

And yet some want him to have a red jacket.
He absolutely should. He had a decade plus stretch where we were one of the best three teams in baseball. He has definitely worn out his welcome but not admitting that the club had a lot of success with him for a very long time is not being genuine. Sports is and always has been a what have you done for me lately business though.
Only question to ask: Did he leave the organization better than how he found it? It’s a BIG NO!

You posted on this thread……every poor assessment of management you post…..you don’t answer direct questions……and then you claim harassement…
So again, is this org in a good position at the end of MO’s tenure???

Yes I referenced the glowing accolades of a decade ago……is that the issue?
