Shady, I’ve yet to ever criticize you for anything, so for you interject your foolishness on what was a an on going conversation where just opinions and suggestions were being exchanged is uncalled for and unwanted!

If you think he has the emotional age of a 4 year old, then why are you continually mocking and ridiculing him? Is this how you would treat a child or a person with a disability? For goodness sakes, he’s a huge Cardinal Fan, is that such a sin? If you really think his posts are beneath you, THEN WHY CAN’T YOU JUST IGNORE HIM?scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑25 Jul 2025 17:28 pmAll of the ones he posts

Someone makes a valid and innocuous point that it is necessary for STL to take a look at Wetherholt at more than one position.
Personal attacks and insults ensue.
Why?
Weird responses- and revealing.

The people who jump on every posts that Shady posts are far worst than Shady's excessive and repetitive posting for sure. Why can't people just ignore stuff if they don't like it? Attacking someone for posting on a sports forum is pretty pathetic imo

Good natured back and forth is one thing.
Unnecessary personal insults and attacks is quite another.
Frankly, given the toxicity of team "leadership" over the past several years and the damage it has done to the organization and team brand, the Cardinals could use more fans who are interested and passionate in supporting the team.
Even if overly so in the view of some.
Sure seems to me that there is high level of interest in Wetherholt's future across a wide spectrum of STL fandom.
What a peculiar thing to attack someone over.
Re: Wetherholt at second base tonite.
I personally would like an infield of JJ at 3rd, then Winn, Donovan and Contreras.
I think that sets up as easily the strength of your team and a nice core with quite a bit of control. As others have stated Arenado is peeing in everyone's Cheerios by not waving his no trade
I know the OP isn't everyone's cup of tea, i've even laid in on him a few times for the repetitive nature of his posts. But this seemed like a fair post to me.....?
Odd behavior

No, I’m fully aware that the web is full of pathetic losers like yourself. It’s sad that you justify your behavior because there are others who act as idiotic as yourself.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑25 Jul 2025 22:51 pmYes. Re: Wetherholt at second base tonite.
Wetherholt had already played 2b 17 times this year. This ismt a sudden change.
And if you can play ss you can play 2b. Ss is just harder. And wetherholt will continue to get most his starts there in minors. Cuz even once he arrives, they can shift him to ss if winn is injured since there are no other great options. He also will be the backup ss too. Theres no reason to just have him only playing the easier position in minors. Its best he still has the ss skills. Playing ss well will make 2b easier.

Re: Wetherholt at second base tonite.
generally agree with this, but no reason not to play both. the turn for the DP is way different for 2bmen, and having played both, I found the throw to 1st strange.. just a wierd body angle... but maybe I'm just wierd lol I did don the tools/gear of ignorance for several yearsWattage wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 11:40 amWetherholt had already played 2b 17 times this year. That's your opinion. I have mine. That's what you get on a public forum.ElliottG wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 10:37 amNo, I’m fully aware that the web is full of pathetic losers like yourself. Can't deal, then find somewhere safer or where they share your same opinions so it's like talking to yourself. You'll feel much better.

True its not exact same which is why he is getting a few starts there as well although majority have been at ss.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 11:53 amgenerally agree with this, but no reason not to play both. the turn for the DP is way different for 2bmen, and having played both, I found the throw to 1st strange.. just a wierd body angle... but maybe I'm just wierd lol I did don the tools/gear of ignorance for several yearsWattage wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 11:40 amWetherholt had already played 2b 17 times this year. Re: Wetherholt at second base tonite.
It would be a bad idea to get Wetherholt some starts at 3B for Memphis either.Wattage wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 12:30 pmTrue its not exact same which is why he is getting a few starts there as well although majority have been at ss.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 11:53 amgenerally agree with this, but no reason not to play both. the turn for the DP is way different for 2bmen, and having played both, I found the throw to 1st strange.. just a wierd body angle... but maybe I'm just wierd lol I did don the tools/gear of ignorance for several yearsWattage wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 11:40 amWetherholt had already played 2b 17 times this year. Re: Wetherholt at second base tonite.
I just had a Cordon Bleu. It was pretty good from Aldi's.
Re: Wetherholt at second base tonite.
They could to up his utility but its not necessarily needed if they dont want to overwhelm him learning positions and hitting. Gorman or donovan could always move to 3b while he stays at 2b since thats their original position and saggese or fermin or whoever is still here could also move to 3b so theres no real need. None of those guys are great at ss so it makes sense to keep his defense up as the backup ssShady wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 12:56 pmIt would be a bad idea to get Wetherholt some starts at 3B for Memphis either.Wattage wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 12:30 pmTrue its not exact same which is why he is getting a few starts there as well although majority have been at ss.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 11:53 amgenerally agree with this, but no reason not to play both. the turn for the DP is way different for 2bmen, and having played both, I found the throw to 1st strange.. just a wierd body angle... but maybe I'm just wierd lol I did don the tools/gear of ignorance for several yearsWattage wrote: ↑26 Jul 2025 11:40 amWetherholt had already played 2b 17 times this year.
