For those who don't know, he's very passionate and quite vocal when comes off the mound between innings. Especially with a strike out. Possible, or maybe they ended up wanting the localish (California) kid and with the way he Bremner finished the season, they liked him a lot? I don’t know, but we’ll see how it all shakes out.

From the sounds of Ryan Mitchell’s interview that I saw yesterday, I don’t think we’ll have to go much overslot for Mitchell. He said his goal was at least $1 million after taxes and slot value of the pick was $1.72 million. He may be a bit above it, but not by too much.

I’m actually wondering where all of the under slot money will go to because we took a lot of college players and I don’t remember many of them being the kinds of guys we’d need to go a lot over slot to sign.
