I’ve been on the fire Mozeliak bandwagon since 2015.

One -1 - uno - playoff series win in the past 10 years.

Thankfully he’ll be out of here in less than 3 months.
I’m a little more patient. I joined the FIRE MO bandwagon in 2017.

Then I started DRIVING the wagon when he fired Shildt. While Uncle Shildty had his flaws, but he got us playing sound fundamental baseball again and he apparently told our hitters to ignore the “3 True Outcome, uppercut swing for HR’s approach” and got us hitting and running and winning again. And promptly got fired since it was The Cardinal Way rather than The Moronoziliak Way.
Yeah, the firing of Schildt really exposed Mozeliak on a national level. It seemed clear that he was only willing to operate in an echo chamber.

I haven't been a fan of the last 3 managers but I think Schildt was the best of the 3 and Matheny was by far the worst of the 3. He also had the best players and Oli has the worst. They won't do it but I wish they would hire someone with a lot of experience from outside the organization. Of course the manager won't matter if the players aren't there. And I wonder what manager would even want to come here.

It’s all subjective. Actually, Matheny had a very good record.

Yes, and as Bad14 correctly noted, Matheny had the best team, so the good record should be expected.

My main gripe with Mike was how he let the team lose sight of the fundamentals. It puzzles me, because as a player he seemed to be one of those “old school hard knocks rocks” and I would have thought he’d be a disciple of The Cardinal Way. I still wonder if his off-the-field business investments got in the way of his focus. Or if toward the end he had players who just wouldn’t listen and needed a kick in the shorts. We’ll never know.

That is fair! Make it a 76 Pinto. Classic. Oli drives first shift. Mo in the rocking chair.
That's how it would have to be. Oliver would be lost without Mo telling him what to do.

Im thinking a nice turd brown color Pinto. With no air conditioning.
How mature, JA.

We have an 'out of touch ' old fart and his Mo-ran running the organization....I share season tix in Section 148....and a lot of regulars have not renewed..the fans are frustrated and not showing up...but there are a few who are full of [shirt] and refuse to see the trend.

I think Bloom is the outside hire and the other guy, Rob C… good start. I think that could lead to an outside hire for manager that might not have otherwise came to work under Mo. If DeWitt has shown one thing, it is trust in his POBO.
