Your team is in the playoff hunt and could use some help with SP and bat in OF
As you’ve noticed your stadium looks awkwardly empty…..Cleveland had more fans…..
Instead of sitting on your hands this July like many in the past where you’ve done essentially NOTHING to bolster the playoff run
Trade for some difference makers
Name nabes...it's easy to say do this but make names.
Who are you trading for and whom are you trading?
Very very very good question!
Just GET IT DONE Mo/Bloom!!!!
Laughable!!!!
Cuse could you list all the available trading options for the other 29 MLB teams against all the Cards available combinations as MO/Bloom would have at their finger tips…..you know since they are the highly paid POBO’s of the Stl Cardinals MLB teams who only focus on these deals every day.
I’ll be waiting on your list……is that the funny part??
Or is the funny part that this team requires some upgrades which is the responsibility of the Cards POBO’s?
Or perhaps you have a good laugh at everything……Enjoy and Godspeed!!
No....I can’t list ALL the OPTIONS!
And why should I do YOUR research for you?????
Here’s a thought:
Since YOU DEMAND moves for impact players why don’t YOU make a concerted effort to look into it before doing your USUAL WHINING??
Better yet....forget the Cards and the deadline!
That is just baseball which is after all just entertainment!
You know what is really important?
Curing childhood cancer!
So why don’t you:
1) Take a trip to St. Jude Hospital.
2) Since none of us know anything about curing cancer you can trying whining and demanding action like you do on CT.
3) If the whining and demanding doesn’t cure Cancer maybe you can try holding your breath while you stomp up and down?
Good luck!
Sorry Cuse given the strict parameters here on CT dictating conversational topics…..I don’t think curing cancer at St. Judes is allowed as a subject
On the other hand calling out Cards leadership to make a deal in July for a good SP and OF should fly
If you and other jack legs require the names and transactional specifics of said trades I truly apologize but again feel free to post your thoughts
LMAO
At least a number of us offer dialogue and input!
You offer nothing but demands and whining.
Translation- you don’t have a clue but others should!
In the meantime.....”get that impact SP and bat MO/Bloom””!!!!!
Legit question:
Have you ever held a management position?

Without giving up the farm (literally), they will probably do nothing.
I could see them making a mistake and moving either Walker or Gorman, but I think the fan base has spoken.
We are not coming back until Mo is gone, regardless of the situation.
That seems to contradict your username
I thought the same thing.

Mikolas won't bring anything but it does not matter since he won't waive his no trade clause. If he continues to struggle just release him. Matz and Fedde won't bring much as half year rentals with their current performance. If you cant get anything useful for them just keep them to eat sone innings. Helsley I would move for a decent prospect, but I listen to a lot of out of market baseball talk and the baseball people dont seem to have a high regard of his endurance or consistant performance.. And he is a looming free agent. These players just won't get you much if anything.
Donavon, Nootbaar, Walker, Gorman, Burlezon, and to a lesser extent Saggese, Crooks and Hence could be the parts of potential interesting traded that would help both teams if we want to consider giving up any of them. I see Donavon as more of an off season move once we see how 2025 plays out and assess 2026 and behind. Contraras would be a great player to trade but his no trade clause likely means he is is going nowhere. Same as Arenado.

Speaking of Hence, am I the only one who thinks he should have been been preparing for the bullpen and possibly Helsley's successor? He can't go deep into games and would tax a bullpen if he were a starter who only went about 5 innings every start.

Fans doing what it takes to make the team better. Folks should thank them. Championing a GM who made many mistakes and beyond all belief, failed in maintaining an industry standard development system for a team claiming it must use its own youth...should have been instant firing, the fact it wasn't , tells you something is wrong with the organization.

Mo really performed when the chips were down- Chris Correa was the only one who got punished.

I'm not convinced they are succeeding in their messaging. I'm neutral on Mo but if we're being fair he put winning teams on the field and ultimately he was limited by DeWitt's
budget. Imagine being Pirates or Rockies fans. Ultimately I'm most angry that DeWitt won't spend.

Why does every thread on here turn into a management rant? The thread was about trades at the deadline. The management is what it is. Let's get back to the thread.

You are the one that jumped in and insulted a posters supposed non support of the team based on his screen name, or you seconded that post. Maybe YOU dont play into it and build it up like that next time. If someone says he is waiting for Mo to leave, maybe you just let it go, not respond hes not a cards fan as his username says and build it up.

Or you could not post it in the first place. It had nothing to do with the topic.

Do you have any contributions for the question of the original post? What trades would you realistically like to see?

So if you’re a Cardinals fan you can’t be waiting for Mo to leave? I’ve been a Cardinals fan my whole life and I’m counting down the seconds until he leaves.

on Page 2.
Also , there are other threads about starting pitching where I posted the internal option as opposed to making a trade.
