You don't release him. He might sign with a rival and shut us down next meeting. Put him in the pen or invent an injury.
Releasing him makes no sense. Still have to pay him.
If they want McGreevy to start after the deadline move him to the pen.
If they honestly tell him that is their plan before the break he may waive his NTC?
