Or the fact that the guardians are playing awful baseball right now

We’ve always been told Gray calls his own pitches. Did that change or is he just being the clsssy vet passing praise to pages?

Pages is very good behind the plate, his defense and pitch calling are solid.

That said, (IMO) Bernal is the one to watchout for as he could combine both defense& hitting!

Pages only gets credit for the games in which pitchers pitch well he doesn’t get any of the credit when they get blown up or pitch badly that’s the rule

C'mon that's just stupid. Sonny had electric stuff last night and gave up only one hit while rarely missing the plate.

seems it wasnt hardly 2 weeks ago it was a cardinal catching comedy of errors of balls going to the backstop. People were PO'd at the catching in the game threads.

Why would you miss the plate against that lineup?

Mikolas has a 6.09 ERA with pages catching this season 3.18 with Herrera catching and 1.25 with pozo catching according to some posters logic on cards talk it must be pages and his calling terrible games with MM pitching that the lizard eater isn’t a cut young candidate this season

Does Pages get credit for today also?

Coming into today Nikolas pitched great to Herrera and pozo and sucked with pages
