That's the first time there has ever been 31 seconds of dead air with Brad Thompson in booth.
Care to speculate what was said with mikes off, that was awkward silence for certain. Very awkward.

Looks like a fool but most certainly not fire worthy. At worst a one day suspension to ensure he learns from this. Even if an accident you can’t continue to make them so a day off would probably be best for all parties.
Suspension for what?
I expect more from you Lloyd. What did I say? What was my intent?
He looked / sounded look a fool, he did.
He should NOT be fired
At WORST / MOST he should be suspended 1 game.
For what making a mistake on air sayings a derogatory statement to a group of people (on accident).
Accidents can have consequences to Lloyd.
He did not look or sound like a fool.
He should not face any consequences.
Accidents sometimes have consequences. Especially is they hurt someone. This hurt no one, you’re the only one looking foolish.
He did sound like a fool. He made the bad broadcasting X tweet and people were having fun with it.
We all make mistakes Caray blew it. It’s okay.

He is extremely fortunate he wasn’t let go. 0
Mistakes are allowed nowadays. IMO this is his one and only get out of jail free. Another slip like this he will be let go.

Just because he made a funny blunder and made essentially the modern version of news bloopers doesn’t mean he looked like a fool or “blew it”. You’re just wrong on this one and making a mountain out of a mole hill. I highly doubt Carey was warned or even sternly talked to about it.

I did not hear the slip of the tongue from Chip.
Just read about it.
Sounds like an awkward mistake and nothing intentional?
Probably embarrassed and handled it in an equally awkward manner.
Move on.

Beth will send him a mod note. People should be allowed to say what they want without repercussions.
Right. Especially if it’s homophobic nonsense being broadcast 1 millions.
That was just a slip of the tongue, but let’s not pretend that that should be standardized.
Sticks and stones. Grow up,

No, they definitely shouldn't. That sounds insane.
Yes they should. No one is harmed with words. Someone else's fragility is not something anyone should be responsible for.

Itd ve ridiculous to suspend for a day for have slipping a sylabbke when trying to speed read a promotion
Im generally fine with being somewhat woke but if people demand punishment from completely unintentional slips of tongue when speed reading, then they need to just live in a bubble and never leave the house. Ridiculous.
People slip of tongue a sylabble all the time, it just haopened to be one that was close to a slur word. This is nothing like brennamon clearly and intentionally saying fg capital just cuz he thought he was off air only to find out he wasnt.
Spot on!
Brennamon deserved to get fired. And he was a total d-bag to listen to before that happened.
He meant EVERY word he said. Just didn’t mean it to go out on the air!
Then he comically tried to backtrack and pretend that WASN’T REALLY WHO I AM.
Nice try d-bag! Hand stuck in cookie jar!
