Contreras' K rate hasn't been good. On the other hand. One of the reasons I've been so supportive of Burleson is his bat to ball skill.

He’s on a good run, just like he went on during June/July last year. Hope he keeps it up this year as opposed to last year when he went back to being a mediocre bat in August and terrible in September.

Could be he figured some things out, he sure hits a lot of line drives and takes them the opposite field with good gap power. But you already knew that

Round and round they go.

I didn't invest nearly as much in Son of Shady so mods got me quick. You must really dedicate a lot of time and money logging in/out and paying for proxy IPs and good VPN. I have to give it to you, you are one hard workin' dedicated troll!

Burleson's drop off last season was uncanny. Like you, myself and many Cardinals fans want to see Burleson maintain his incredible hitting.

HTM, it's possible Burleson just got a fatigued swing last season. As opposed to how quick it is now.

I’m here. Not a hater but don’t see him as the anointed one like you guys.

He was pacing even better last year in the first half, then turned back into the bench/role player pumpkin he is. Never learned to play OF defense either. Not a bad thing, he belongs in MLB. It’s just you guys see an MVP. Go ahead and flame away.
He knows how to play outfield, hes just overweight and slow. His reads and routes are fine. Hes just never gonna be rangey chasing balls down gap.

He had a bad September. He had a .787 ops still seotember 1st but had a .510 ops in September.

Right now hes hot and ride him while hes hot. I dont think hes as bad as some peopke say but dont think hes this good either and see him as a .760ish ops guy. Above average bat with defensive limitations but he could prove me wrong. Hes improved each year. Hed have less hater if it werent for the shady hype.

"Hed have less hater if it werent for the shady hype". That's absolutely senseless. With all the serious krapp going on in the real world, that anyone would be so trivial.

Intry not to engage too much in it but its so overboard that sometimes the sheer number of threads about him made me wish he was gone in past years. You were that over the top so.meimes that it actually made people hate him cuz they were sick of hearing about him.
