Can't wait to see Ryan Vilade blow up on another team's lineup. He's going to be the next Patrick Wisdom.

That's the concern...
The single plus side of a Siani is that
he is a player that gets pinch hit for and not a
player that pinch hits for anyone. He's a bench player
and used as one. Hopefully.
With walker and donovan out- burly could use a defensive replacement in the outfield and barrero aint it. Siani has a role.

Agreed.
Always bet the upside whenever possible.
That said, Super Slo Mo and The Marmot likely prefer Siani on the bench sine playing time may be limited.
Might be best to allow more time for Church in Memphis.

Roycroft is welcome back once he throws 100 scoreless innings in relief or is moved to a starter role and has a half dozen consecutive perfect games. Then and only then would I be willing to see him back in St. Louis.

Wisdom actually had a .882.ops in his 50 at bats with the cardinals so there was signs he wasnt overmatched here but we got rid of him anyways. Villade was totally overmatched

Crazy that Vilade lasted as long as he did but at least sanity prevailed.
But then there's the issue of having no better option to replace that bum than with another bum.

I've seen enough to have the impression you are a Mo defender. There are threads where you and tank work in tandem. That says enough.
