Don't remember where I read it but I think Walker's been our biggest RBI producer over the last few weeks.

Probably.

But....

Why not Gorman at second with an OF of Hurdy Gurdy, VSII, and Noot. Burly is not an mlb-caliber outfielder. His fWAR now sits at -0.1. That's not good.
Thank You
It can actually be a 2 week opportunity or more depending on NG results.

For the Cards, the Barrero's and Vilade's of the world are for injury fill. They're the tools
you use for the little events.
Gorman "runway" has been impeded by the inability to trade Arenado. A lot of his peripheral stats have actually improved. I would be happy to see him get an opportunity. But they probably stick Burly out there.
His runway is also impeded by Oli's Burleson obsession. Gorman and his higher ceiling are continually benched for no glove Burleson and his whopping .733 OPS.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Burleson should not ever be allowed on the field with a glove nor allowed to bat against a lefty.
Edit : yep Burly in right today.

Oh, hell no! 8O 8O
Double h e l l no! :x

Donovan
VSII
Noot

Call up SAGGESE and play him at 2nd base!
Saggese is striking out too much and not hitting for enough power right now. Needs everyday work in AAA.

Well that would make too much sense. Oli is shady-esque in his devotion to Burly.

Ryan Vilade has played all OF positions and 1B. But may be the definition of a replacement player.

No expectations of him other than just another bad penny that keeps re-appearing this season ( ala 2023 Taylor Motter).

Not much of a chance Munoz helps the bullpen. He is the true definition of awful.

Munoz will hopefully only be brought in to eat innings in a blow out although oli did use roycroft in close games so you never know

So I would have thought Granillo would have got called up instead of Munoz, but is it a 40 man roster issue?

Lots of hate here for Burly who is a .275 hitter the last two years and is a few points better hitter than league average.

And lots of love for Gorman who is under .200 since 2023, about 25% worse hitter than league average, is awful at defense too.

Who the hell is still deranged enough to want to see Gorman?

He's one of the worst hitters that's ever played the game of baseball. I never want to see him in a Cardinal uniform again.

Let's put it this way... with Gorman, instead of Arenado this year... we'd be 9 games under .500
