Don't remember where I read it but I think Walker's been our biggest RBI producer over the last few weeks.

Gorman and his higher ceiling are continually benched for no glove Burleson and his whopping .733 OPS.2ninr wrote: ↑31 May 2025 12:32 pmGorman "runway" has been impeded by the inability to trade Arenado. A lot of his peripheral stats have actually improved. I would be happy to see him get an opportunity. But they probably stick Burly out there.renostl wrote: ↑31 May 2025 12:14 pmIt can actually be a 2 week opportunity or more depending on NG results.2ninr wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:42 amThank YouMonsieur De Treville wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:32 amProbably.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:13 am Oh lord that means burly is probably the everyday right fielder
But....
Why not Gorman at second with an OF of Hurdy Gurdy, VSII, and Noot. Burly is not an mlb-caliber outfielder. His fWAR now sits at -0.1. That's not good.
For the Cards, the Barrero's and Vilade's of the world are for injury fill. They're the tools
you use for the little events.
Saggese is striking out too much and not hitting for enough power right now. Needs everyday work in AAA.rockondlouie wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:48 amDouble h e l l no!MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:15 amOh, hell no!Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:13 am Oh lord that means burly is probably the everyday right fielder![]()

Donovan
VSII
Noot
Call up SAGGESE and play him at 2nd base!
Well that would make too much sense. Oli is shady-esque in his devotion to Burly.Monsieur De Treville wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:32 amProbably.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:13 am Oh lord that means burly is probably the everyday right fielder

They are trying to subtly make sure the Cardinals are sellers.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:16 am Wrist inflammation. Grafecco optioned to Memphis. Munoz and Vilade up.
Not much of a chance Munoz helps the bullpen. He is the true definition of awful.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑31 May 2025 17:43 pmThey are trying to subtly make sure the Cardinals are sellers.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 11:16 am Wrist inflammation. One would hope.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 18:35 pm Munoz will hopefully only be brought in to eat innings in a blow out although oli did use roycroft in close games so you never know
So I would have thought Granillo would have got called up instead of Munoz, but is it a 40 man roster issue?Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑31 May 2025 18:35 pm Munoz will hopefully only be brought in to eat innings in a blow out although oli did use roycroft in close games so you never know
