I watched SEC Pitcher of the Year, Liam Doyle, pitch today. Roby doesn't bring the fastball at 99 mph, quite often, like I've heard Doyle does. Though I believe Roby had a pitch clocked at 98 mph in spring training. Roby doesn't bring the consistent heat Doyle does. But Roby seems to have a better assortment of pitches than Doyle. Doyle is considered a top ten prospect in the upcoming MLB draft. Granted, Roby is probably older than Doyle. Just some observations. Looking forward to Roby's start tonight.
