I think he only threw one strike to Winn. Absolutely refused to walk.

Glad to help you with your thoughts you seem a bit confused. As far as winning, the team is playing well and has earned the chance to keep winning. Gorman has had lots of MLB at bats and has regressed. I am not too concerned about putting him ahead of the team at this point.3dender wrote: ↑21 May 2025 12:15 pmThanks for telling me my own thoughts, I'll be sure to run them by you in the futureBob Kunush wrote: ↑21 May 2025 11:58 amNo you primarily complained that he was starting against a tough left hander. Without noting it was a bullpen game and rhe starter doesnt realky matter.3dender wrote: ↑21 May 2025 11:04 amJoke's on you cause it doesn't ruin my complaint that Gorman hasn't gotten enough PT... 3rd start in 13 days.Bob Kunush wrote: ↑21 May 2025 10:55 amDon't ruin a good complaint with logic!![]()
As for his plating time, he really hasn't deserved at bats the way the team has played and with his underwhelming performance. We have done pretty well without him. I have no complaints that he hasn't been playing. He should probably be in the minors but apparently they feel Brant Brown is the right guy to work with him at this time.![]()
You are most worried about the 2025 team winning, while I am worried about the organization managing their assets as effectively as possible. We are not the same.
Yep! Winn loves to swing at those pitches right at his feet too. Very frustrating to watch.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑21 May 2025 12:26 pm I think he only threw one strike to Winn. Absolutely refused to walk.
Makes him not good as a leadoff. Wish they would just leave him at 2 hole.slimjay63801 wrote: ↑21 May 2025 12:31 pmYep! Winn loves to swing at those pitches right at his feet too. It's just Stubborn Oli being Oli... He's definitely better at the 2 spot.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑21 May 2025 12:33 pmMakes him not good as a leadoff.
