I didn’t read the article, but did it mention how the Cubs first month and a half schedule was probably the toughest in baseball?

So of their first 41 games, they had 6 games vs teams with losing records, both of which are divisional opponents. They had 29 consecutive games vs teams with winning records to begin the season and still went 17-12 in those 29 games. Overall they made it through their hardest stretch of the season at 23-18. Even as a Cardinals fan, I’d say that was very impressive. I thought/was hoping they’d get buried early because to me they were the biggest competition this year for us, and that was a brutal stretch they faced.
