How do the Cardinals stack up to the Cubs?

I didn’t read the article, but did it mention how the Cubs first month and a half schedule was probably the toughest in baseball?Shady wrote: ↑16 May 2025 10:07 amOn the subject of the Cubs easy schedule coming up. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/ca ... 69e4&ei=10scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑16 May 2025 07:50 am The true tests for the Cards are the next 5-6 series. 2 vs LAD (29-15)
4 @ Arizona (23-21)
3 @ Athletics (22-22)
3 vs San Diego (27-15)
3 vs Texas (24-21)
3 @ LAD (29-15)

2 vs LAD (29-15)
3 vs Philadelphia (25-18)
3 @ Pitt (15-29)
3 @ Milwaukee (21-23)
3 vs San Francisco (25-19)
3 @ NY Mets (28-16)
So of their first 41 games, they had 6 games vs teams with losing records, both of which are divisional opponents. They had 29 consecutive games vs teams with winning records to begin the season and still went 17-12 in those 29 games. Overall they made it through their hardest stretch of the season at 23-18. Even as a Cardinals fan, I’d say that was very impressive. I thought/was hoping they’d get buried early because to me they were the biggest competition this year for us, and that was a brutal stretch they faced.

He's had me on ignore a dozen times.Adam2 wrote: ↑16 May 2025 08:01 amYou said this was your last response to him. This is my last response to your nonsense.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑15 May 2025 19:00 pm[fork] offShady wrote: ↑15 May 2025 17:33 pm I'm thinking the Cardinals offense and defense are right there with the Cubs. But, what about pitching? I'm still a little concerned about Cardinals older starting pitchers. As far as consistency and durability. The good thing, the starting pitching has some depth. With McGreevy and Matz. And the Cards relief corps seems to have some nice potential. It looks to be a fun summer for Cardinals fans.
But he's a liar. His need for attention is so great he can't help himself...he reads everything written about him and savors every syllable as if it's his last bite of food forever!
