The vibe is good against sub .500 teams: 14-8

The vibe is not so good against winning teams: 8-11

Check back on Nolan's vibe after 2 weeks of playing Philly, KC, Detroit and Arizona (all winning teams)

Fortunately we will miss Wheeler. But we will face Cristopher Sanchez, Jesus Luzardo, and Aaron Nola. But we will counter with Libby, Gray, and Fedde. So I think it should be a great atmosphere and matchup.
Yeah, but they are 11-8 over the last 19.

ramfandan wrote: 11 May 2025 22:26 pm Nolan Arenado's comments what's different now that the Cardinals have this 8-game winning streak.

“We’re excited to come to the ballpark,” Arenado said. “I think that’s the first time in a couple of years, it feels like. We’re coming to the ballpark ready to win a ballgame instead of coming to the ballpark hoping for something good to happen. It’s a different vibe for sure coming to the ballpark. It seems like the energy is different right now.”
Must be knowing Mo is retiring.
What do you expect from rocko?

Can Arenado find a vibe where he’s a hitting threat against good teams?

One, worth noting that his comment goes directly to what I have been explaining for the past several years.
The entire organization was infected with a TOXIC CULTURE.
And that needed to change.
Glad he finally understands that which I explained to all long ago.
Two, N/A is also validating another accurate analysis on my part (and made by others as well).
He is a follower, not a leader.
He did not create energy.
He is riding it
.
Agree with that.
Maybe he learned a little about his involvement in it.

After all your stated profession counts on this as a possibility, correct?
"Discovery" is indeed one of the most important words in my industry.

I still don't give 2 s***s about Arenado and his self-importance. He sucks at cleanup. On pace for fewer than 16 HRs and 64 RBIs.

Still GG at 3B, but his stick is still sick.

I would like to see Contreras hit fourth and Herrera fifth but herrera isn’t going to play everyday

That's most teams every year. Some teams have losing records because we beat them. Some have winning records because they beat us. The variance isn't always that great from a winning record opponent to a losing record opponent.

They could make this very interesting if they keep winning. If by some chance, they are in a divisional race at the deadline, does DeWitt and Mo change course and add? Do they sell if the price is to their liking? Or stand pat and hope?

Agreed that Nado shouldn’t be the cleanup man. Like Ozzie said, I think it should be Contreras with Hererra 5th and Nado 6th.
