...Cards are their own worst enemy... 
...They had Viento dead to right IF Pallante had recognized how far off base he had gone... Then, of course, Marte singles, driving in 2 runs, giving the Mets the lead. Next batter Alvarez singles, driving in another run...
All this with 2 outs... 8 hits in the 3rd, Mets still batting... Pallante just doesn't have it tonight...

The pitching staff is beyond worthless. There’s not a single guy in staff that’s consistently reliable.

Always wondered about the situation the Cards were just in. Has there even been thought of just letting the guy have second base and not vacating the area.
