Ugh ... this freaking chubster. It's really hard to fathom how a guy can hit like an All-Star for almost 3 straight months and suddenly abandon that approach. Is he preoccupied with the upcoming annual Nathan's hotdog contest? Did he switch to lowfat ranch?

He's still only 26 but you just can't consistently go 300abs in between home runs and expect to be an MLB impact hitter if that's your only potential upside. Hopefully that was a one-time anomaly.

I still don't understand why Oli pulled him from the lineup last week with a string of righties on the mound when Alec had just gone 5 for 8 over his last 2 games. He seemed to be heating up then.

But, as we've known for some time now, momentum is a nuance that's clearly lost on iPad AI--errr, I mean Oli.

he still doesn't deserve to bat 2nd in this lineup, Cranny. I don't care what kind of insane heater he goes on, bat him 5th. Never 2nd.

Why 5th instead of 2nd? Looking for speed at #2 is old hat.

I expect Burleson back at #6 in the lineup tomorrow. Though Burleson probably has a better chance to be successful against Skenes than Winn.
