Its a sad sorry dark state of affairs in cardinal fandom when fans are giddy about a series split with the freaking reds. This is what Mo and Oli has reduced people to
Nobody is giddy . The Reds happen to have a better run differntial than all but two teams in the NL.. the Cubs & NY Mets
163 runs scored with 126 runs allowed a +37 Checking the espected W-L record for that +37 shows a record of 20-12
which is 3 games better than their 17-15 actual record.
Yea the lowly reds are going up as a franchise and Dewitt and Mo are dragging the cardinals down to where to the reds used to be where fans are happy if they just manage to split a series with a team over .500.
Your bullish. Id again counter on the road a four gane split is great. Shows .500 on the road. That’s a huge upgrade.
Had it been at home, I see your miff.
Yea, road is a different animal, especially this year. I wouldn’t say I’m “giddy” about a four game split at Cincinnati, but it’s certainly good enough. Now take 2 of 3 from the Mets and we’d be 6-4 over our last 10.
2 of 3 from the Mutts.
Cardinals are 10-5 at Busch and slashing .289 .360 .449 .809.
Mutts are only .500 on the road at 8-8 and slashing .239 .320 .408 .728
I'll say Cards take 2/3 (only reason no sweep is I want to save one win for the Blues tonight ).
Well I got my Blues win, you got your as the Cardinals reeked.
Like the Cards, can't win on the road. Blues are done Sunday. May the 4 th be with you
We'll see.
Blues have beat the c r a p out of the President's Trophy winners all three in St. Louis, lost by a goal (empty netters ....meh) in all three in Canada and they misdirected a goal against Binny in all three games.
Should be a battle, more than I can say for the Cards v the Mutts (9 straight losses )
