You’re vastly underrating him. He’s a top 60 offensive player in obp, ops, RBIs, walks, runs, and homeruns. Top 40 in many of them. More walks than strikeouts too
They will go silent again once he starts heating up again and he will
And the silence begins on Lars is JAG and overrated

Several of us have been saying this for years. He's a tremendous player, just needs to stay healthy. Glad he is doing such and delivering most of us anticipated. He's the best player on the Cardinals.

Some of y’all just lurch wildly from ditch to ditch. 162 games is a long season. Six full months. Every hitter and pitcher will experience slumps throughout a season. Managing slumps is an art. TLR was great at it. Move a guy up or down in the lineup, give him a day off, skip a start. Patience is the key.

Is “Argo” Nootbaar? Cause Nootbaar should be an All Star if he keeps this up.

I thought it was Noot, as in Argo-noot, instead of Argonaut, see Jason and the.

Have to disagree Jobu.

Noot ranks 2nd among lead-off hitters w/more than 100 PA's w/a .405 OB% which is fantastic!

VSII may one day be the natural to hit lead-off but right now he's a distant second to Noot, I leave him in the #8/9 hole for the season.

Yep, Noot is the perfect leadoff hitter. Now I would like them to figure out the 2nd spot better and if he keeps hitting like he has been I might be inclined to move Winn to 2nd with Contreras 5th.

This forum in 1967 when Brock swooned for 13 games in June hitting .223/.233/.328/.561. "Get him out of the leadoff spot and put Tolan there." Every team should embrace 5,000+ lineup changes to accommodate withered attention spans.
