we appreciate the update, we weren't entirely sure if you were ready.
How about this, Guru? Why not more Saggese at bats"? Whatcha' think, hotshot?
I like Saggese.
Not looking to be snarky just a sincere question.
Who would you propose “sit” so that Saggese can get more AB’s??
Good question. Maybe Gorman and even Burleson, And Honorable Mention, Contreras and Arenado. But, I know, the high cost salaries wouldn't allow that.
Arenado? Seriously? Guy has played great baseball so far this year. The answer for me would definately be Burly.. He's hardly contributing at all to this point.
Arenado needs to deliver more power from the cleanup spot. The Cardinals haven't had the needed legitimate power-hitting cleanup hitter for a while. Arenado and Contreras don't appear to be that either this season.

Good point. Cards do need more power for sure but benching Nado or WillyCon isn't the answer. Anyways, I believe WillyCon will break out of his slump sooner than later.

Well, you'll get your wish. If arenado is out, Saggese is probably in. Unless Mo decides something ignorant like bringing up Walker to play 3b.

Looks like Saggese gets a start at 3B today. He needs a productive day at the plate.

Do you think Sagesse will hit 5 home runs today? Who do you think can do more pushups, Roby or Sagesse? …or Burly?

He had a key walk and a big hit. This guy has a career as their utility player.

I feel the Cardinals know they have a really good hitter, potentially, in Saggese. Kind of like they realized in Burleson. Personally, I'm looking forward to these hitters in the lineup, together, one of these days. Donovan, Herrera, Burleson, Saggese and Wetherholt.

Saggese is going to be a really good player, eventually. He's only 23 years old.
