At the major league level he was forced by ownership to trade popular players like Betts, which made him unpopular with fans.

NA is strokin it, Scott is providing all around quality play, Donovan - guess the hitting facility on 10,000 acres works, and Walker - congrats to that young man - what a huge difference. NA gives us some performance that reminds us of his past.

Would also like to give a shout out to John Jay & ??? for Walker improved defense. Yesterdays catch of the foul ball, for me, totally turned the game around. Great athletic effort by a player we all probably wondered will he ever catch a ball hit to him. IF Scott can keep patrolling CF and Walker improvement on RF D, the outfield D could be a positive.

As to crawl walk run, the similarities are- the focus is never on any advance, just the present. Once we learn to crawl adequately the immmediate shift to walk, again with only vision for the present or the walk.

Some of the past years we’ve had strong hitting and weak pitching. Other years we’ve had weak hitting and strong pitching. Tough to put both together, but hoping Bloom can do it. Actually we may have it this season if the pitching settles in and comes through.

Not rooting against Bloom, but, I don't think Red Sox fans miss him.
